Dear Health Care Provider,

God, I through to myself. Then I asked, when was the last time you went on a vacation. Six years ago was his response.
My God Doc, I couldn't hold it back, you are in the wrong business. That was my last comment about his upcoming vacation
... I couldn' t help but feel bad.
Here I am with about 6 years of advance education, (Masters Degree
in Logistics from The U.S. Army Command and General Staff College (USAC&GSC) at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas), and with an
annual income of about $140,000 per year and growing, at the time of that visit, and I go on vacation a minimum of one to
two times per year for 2 to 4 weeks each.
All while running my business that required only about 10 hours
per week. What is wrong with this picture?
What about you Doc, ...
"Are
you working harder than you through you would have to in order to make a good living?"
Of course you know that the health care industry is the
fastest growing industry in America, and yes, YOU are definately in the right profession, (contrary to what appears to be
the case with my doctor), but you, as he, cannot continue to operate, ... business as usual. You must be alert and innovative
and open to new ideas and new ways of doing things. You must secretly be willing to ... "Wash Your Hands",
no matter what the rest of the medical profession is doing.

For A Change In The Way YOU Are Doing Business!
Many years ago,
after retiring from the military, I was face with the pleasure of raising my then five (5) year old son alone. However,
it was fairly impossible for me to find a "JOB" close to home that allowed me the flexability I needed in order
for me to support my son the way that I wantd too. To resolve this problem I decided to look for and found a "JOB"
in the auto industry ... as an auto salesman. In the auto industry it was quite easy to move about as I needed.
All I needed to do was turn a customer over to another salesman. I would still get half the deal. But after a
few weeks I decided that the auto sales business was not for me, standing outside waiting on someone to come up and say, ...
"I want to buy a car". It never happens. However, just short of pulling the plug
on that "JOB", I reviewed my original goal statement, (being available for my son), and decided to try something
new ... and apparently quite innovative within the auto industry.
Ask for "the Colonel"
I got a mailing list of over 500 retired military personnel that
lived within 50 miles of the Cerritos Auto Square where I worked. I sent letters to each of these retired military personnel.
I told them that I would give them a straight forward hassle-free money saving deal on the purchase of their next car, new
or used. I told them that I would also extend that same deal to any of their family members and friends. All they
had to do when they came in was to be sure to loudly and clearly ... Ask for "the Colonel"!
Anyone who has ever been in the military knew at least one Colonel. And based on my exprience, he/she
was someone that was respected and could be trusted. The success of that letter was truly amazing. I was promoted to
Fleet Manager, within one month of that letter, (within three months of starting that "JOB"). In the seven
(7) years that I worked in the car business I sold more cars than anyone ever sold within the Cerritos Auto Square.
That was more than eight (8), years ago; however, some of those people still call me for help with their auto
buying needs. And when they call, I will always place a few calls on their behalf. That's usually all it takes.
So what's my point!
Here's my point: People are being told by the drug companies, by their friends and everyone else to
... "Ask Your Doctor", why just ten minutes ago I stop by a local drug store
to find a product to help with an itch. I could not find anything by name so I decided to ask the Pharmacists if she
could recommend something to help relieve my that itch. She asked how long I had been experiencing the itch. A
few days was my response. She said without hesitation, you had better, ... "Ask
Your Doctor"!
Even the drug industry without knowing it is conspiring for YOUR
SUCCESS. They know how powerful it is when they say, "Ask Your Doctor"!
Until NOW, where would you normally send them but to the drug store for one of their very expensive prescription drugs, an
automatic ... "KA CHAING" for them. Tell me Doc, how much of that "KA CHAING" rung in your practice?
Why I am telling you is this, (please don't be angered by my direct approach, but would you have your son
follow anyone else in combat), because YOU need to decide on how you are going to win at this game, not continue to be at
the mercy of the big medical insurance companies and drug companies.
My Cousin, the OB-GYN Doctor!
My cousin, (an OB-GYN doctor of many years), and someone for whom I always
through was a modern day genesis, (during college his grades were always A+), recently told me that he was looking for ways
to get out of the medical profession. When I asked why he said because of the high cost of medical insurance.
How sad! When I told him about this program, he only smiled. How could I teach him anything about
making money in his chosen profession, especially when he knew that my grades were seldom better than a low B. I refused
to show him my bank book or my real estate portfollio. This fact, is even sadder! Considering the fact that
there are millions and millions of very well educated "broke" people in America, ... as they say in the naked city,
he is just one of them!
Anyway, as I said earlier, the nutritional supplement and the weight-loss
industry is already a three (3) billion dollar industry. Take a look at some of the present numbers:
1.
Fully 50% of all americans are taking nutritional supplements and most are being advised about what to take by a store clerk
who may have barely made it out of high school.
2. 33% of all americans are over weight and are talking to
anyone who set up shingles. Because their doctors are not into weigh-loss, so he/she spends hundreds per year on their
membership at the corner gym only to visit there two or three times every six months. That's called desperation, and
you can help them with their problem and you want have to apply for payments. And they, your patients will be
yours forever.
3. 25% of the 33% who are overweight are considered obese and have no idea about
what to do. And I can teach your staff how to help these people and your patients will be all the healthier for it.
A Personal Lunch Bet!
I am willing to bet you lunch
that if YOU were to conduct a simple survey in your practice you will find that a large number of your patients are already
taking or considering starting a daily or monthly regimentation of nutritional products. And for those who are not it
is likely because they don't know what they should be taking. But you do! If not, all you need to do is ask for
a check when you run their next blood test. It is my understanding that a normal blood test identifies certain deficiencies

My Conversation With My Doctor!
You may recall the conversation I had with my personal doctor. Something that I
did not tell you was that it was doing a follow-up visit with him that I was informed that I had a PSA count of (28 or .28)
plus, which later proved to be Prostate Cancer. I was mad as hell. Not because I had a "why me"
attitude, not at all but because I had been asking my doctor for many years to help keep me posted about some of the things
that I could do to help me stay ahead of the healthy life curve. I was willing to do and was disciplined enough to do
basically whatever he told me. But his response was always the same, see me about every six months and let me worry
about the rest. Not the answer I wanted to hear. But I excepted his lazy response. What a mistake!
To this day I have never been called by his office but one time ... to come in so that he could inform me that I had prostate
cancer. Prior to that he always said ... no news is good news. I am now looking for a more pro-active family doctor!
Now
I tell everyone that if their doctor is not proactive regarding their health, no matter how busy he/she is, they should find
another doctor. And they should be sure to be as proactive as they themselves can be about their own personal health.
